At work yesterday, they were having a charity chili cook-off to benefit the United Way. Well, Helaman and food (especially food contests) call for "GAME ON!!" So, for the past week, Helaman has been building his own concoction called "Chile Verde con Bef y Negro Frijoles" aka/ "Green Chili with Beef and Black Beans". He actually has a great gift at cooking and won 4th place with his chili and 2nd place for his salsa, of which he literally threw together at the last minute. Way to go, Helaman! And yes, he is already figuring out how to make it better for next year. :) That's the Helaman I know and love!
