Decorating Early? Might as well!

Everywhere we go, there are sounds of Christmas. The radio stations have been already playing it and the stores are filled from head to toe with the feeling of Christmas so why not in our house this year?! I'm an avid fan of waiting until after Thanksgiving because it deserves its own celebration without being overtaken by Christmas, but this year we've decided to break our tradition and put up our indoor Christmas decorations yesterday. It's a bit crazy, but it's really neat to see the kids wake up and say that our house feels like its Christmas time. Each week after Thanksgiving, we tell parts of the Christmas story so that when it's Christmas Eve, we hit the grand finale of Christ's birth. It's really fun and it helps us remember the real spirit of Christmas.

I guess it will be a Merry Thanksgiving this year in our house!

That's the joy of older children and being to put up decorations that everyone can/will leave alone. I dont think we will even have Christmas this year! haha (of course we will)

Hey thanks again for last night.... we'll have to do it again soon!
