Reina and the 'Tramp'

How do you get a Great Dane off of a trampoline?

Today after school, the kids were jumping on our trampoline with a neighbor girl when all of a sudden, someone wanted to join the pack. Evidently, our Great Dane, Reina, decided that she was going to try jumping onto the trampoline to join her "friends". With complete airtime, she cleared the metal bars and dove right onto the trampoline. She was so frightened at that point that she started running all over the trampoline scaring the kids. I helped get the kids down, but she was too frightened to attempt a dismount so I went inside to give her a few minutes to calm down. (At this point, I should've been amazing and grabbed my camera, but I'm just not that amazing I guess.)

I was quickly trying to come up with solutions to help her get down w/o injuring herself. So, finally I decided to put her leash on and try dragging her off. If you know how big I am up against her, you know that this could possibly be an amazingly difficult challenge. Luck was on my side! I started pulling, at first to her hesitation, and then leaped clear off of the trampoline and straight into the house. (I think she knew that she was in trouble.)

So after a rather calm day, life doesn't get more exciting than that!
