If you've been keeping up with our blog, you noticed that we had our indoor Christmas decorations put up the weekend before Thanksgiving. Well, ever since then, almost everyday Haley has been begging us to put up our lights outside. Since this is our first Christmas season in our new house, we weren't quite sure how we wanted to decorate because our old house made it nearly impossible to put decorations outside. (For those who knew our old house, you'd understand this weird idea that in Illinois our house was on a big hill, but in hilly Missouri, it's flat .. go figure.)So back to the story ... Haley finally begged enough that Helaman and the kids bundled up and put lights outside our house earlier this week. She was so excited that we now fit in with all of the other houses nearby. It isn't much, but it'll do for the first year.
Oh ... and if you look closely in the window, you will find two very curious little heads peeking through trying to figure out why I would go out in the icy snow with my camera. The taller one is Haley and the shorter one next to her is Ammon.
