"I Want THAT!!!"

Oh, the lovely sounds of Christmas time! The fabulous marketing efforts by many toy stores and toy companies focusing on the one true phrase that rings through everyone's home ... I WANT THAT! Music to my ears ... well, not quite. I think they official began running toy commercials at least one month before Thanksgiving and those marvelous words already began flowing in our home back then. It is now only one week after Thanksgiving and 21 more days until Christmas, so the annual Castillo family rule has been reinstated. What is that you ask? They are only allowed to say "I want that!" two times throughout the whole day. May sound a little strict, but it definitely makes them think a little more. Oh ... they are choosing pretty wisely now and a happy mom makes for a happy home.
