Well, things didn't go so well this week. Ammon was experiencing a lot of pain so we took him to his doctor to find out that it is closing up AGAIN. (I think this is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened.) So, once again, Ammon got the wonderful invitation to a party in the Operating Room for the 9th time. We really don't like those kind of invitations. They're really starting to bug us.
Since the surgery, he's been doing pretty well and has been mostly pain-free. He will have to go back on Monday to get his catheter out and will have to go back weekly for a few weeks following. Bottom line, this kid can amazingly take on so much and has to continue at that. Please keep him in your prayers.
In the meantime, he's getting really excited because we are taking him out to Aunt Lynn's and Grandma & Papo's for the next few days. Hope the little getaway helps!
