Kids say the darndest things!

To give a little preview, my sister, Lynn, is getting her masters degree in elementary education and is now in her final semester, therefore doing her student teaching. And now for the story! We were out running errands around lunch time so I decided to pick up some Happy Meals from McDonald's for the kids. When we got home, the kids immediately started to admire their new toys. Haley then began analyzing her Barbie and asked, "Mom, who made this?" I then replied, "I don't know." Instantly, not missing a beat, Ammon replied, "Aunt Lynn!!" Again, without missing a beat and in the tone of "I know more than you" Haley says, "No, Ammon!! Aunt Lynn doesn't teach at McDonald's, she teaches at a SCHOOL!" And that was it. No back-talking from Ammon ... NOTHING. I guess it was enough said! So I'm guessing the moral of the story is that Ammon thinks his Aunt Lynn makes McDonald's toys and Haley knows that she doesn't teach there.

Where in the world to kids get this stuff?!
